Twentieth Pastor Anniversary Celebration is on March 24, 2024.  We invite you to join us for the Sunday worship service celebration at 9:00 AM and at 4:00 PM.  Thus, the celebration is for Rev. Dr. Cedric L. Perkins and Family at Pilgrim Baptist Church.  Our Guest Speaker for the Morning Worship Service is Rev. Shawn V. Thompson, Pastor of Second Baptist Church in Omaha, Nebraska. The Guest Speaker for the Afternoon Worship Service is Rev. Dr. Ricky D. Turner, Senior Pastor of Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Kansas City, Kansas. Join PBC in celebrating Pastor Perkins for his years preaching, pastoring, and 20 years for being Senior Pastor.  What is Pastor Anniversary?  Pastor Anniversary is a day set aside to reflect on the installation service and the years of service celebrations thereafter.  Pilgrim will share the grateful appreciation to a family who gives of their time to the church and the community.  

Pastor recognition is an awesome and sincere appreciation acknowledgment to do for God’s servant. The recognition is a mere communication tool. Not to mention that it displays the outcomes of what someone has done that is special.  As a matter of fact, it recognizes the achievements of service. Thereafter, it is a way to say excellent job, job well done, and keep up the great work.  We will recognize an employee of the church.   Dr. Perkins is a community leader along with his family members helping others. This is a display the reach is wider than the walls of the church. 

The Fourth Sunday in March is set aside for the Pastor Anniversary celebration.
